Specific Order Form

AEIL has complete Leak/Wipe test kits available for clients who are licensed to test their own sealed radioactive sources or surface areas.  These kits are mailed to the client as required on a calendar recall basis.  This is a helpful reminder to keep your records current and in compliance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Agreement States.  General instructions are included and specific directions for unusual situations are available.

LEAK/WIPE KIT REQUEST

Most radioactive material users are required to test their sealed sources for removable contamination every six months. Check your radioactive materials license if you are uncertain as to the frequency your company must perform these tests.  Please indicate the number of Leak/Wipe Kits needed by the appropriate month(s).

The number of Leak/Wipe Kits you indicate above will automatically be mailed just before the indicated month(s).

Computer generated Certificates are issued to the client upon completion of analysis.  If the results exceed permissible levels (i.e.;  0.005 microcuries of removable contamination on sealed sources), the client will be contacted immediately by telephone.   AEIL personnel are available to perform these tests at your company if you prefer.  Charges are made according to distance from our laboratory and time involved.
